Piedmont is a region in northwestern Italy. It is located in a mountainous region, surrounded by the Alps. As a result, several ski resorts are open in winter. There is the Milky Way resort on Mount Viso or the very famous resort of Sestriere. You can enjoy a multitude of winter activities such as climbing, rafting, cross-country skiing or downhill skiing.
