BREUIL-CERVINIA VALTOURNENCHE - ZERMATT
Altitude: 1524 m - 3883 m | Opening: 1 October 2022 to 7 May 2023
The Cervino Ski Paradise is one of the most extensive ski areas in the Alps, with a mix of slopes spanning two countries, Italy and Switzerland.
It is also one of the largest and highest ski areas in Europe, with the Little Matterhorn rising to 3883m from Valtournenche.
The 19 lifts in Breuil-Cervinia-Valtournenche and 34 on the Zermatt side allow you to ski for a whole day without ever coming back on your tracks and the very high altitude and the numerous snow cannons ensure quality skiing throughout the season, in spring and even in summer!
Every winter, Breuil-Cervinia is the first ski resort on the Italian side of the Western Alps to launch the winter season. Aosta Valley Tourism
Here, the ski season lasts almost 9 months and 4 seasons: autumn, winter, continuing until spring with a closure announced only on 7 May 2023, and summer skiing in July and August.
LA THUILE, ESPACE SAN BERNARDO
Altitude: 1441 m - 2800 m | Opening: 2 December 2022 to 16 April 2023
Straddling the department of Savoie and the autonomous region of the Aosta Valley, the Franco-Italian ski area of the Espace San Bernardo is renowned throughout the world for its unique, cross-border landscapes. Linking the areas of La Rosière 1850 (France) and La Thuile (Italy), the Espace San Bernardo offers a total of 85 runs and 39 lifts, all accessible with a single international ski pass. It is also 2 slalom stadiums, 1 snowpark, 1 boarder cross, 2 fun cross areas, 1 secure area for freeriders, 1 snowkite area and 2 playgrounds for children. From the Italian resort, you can enjoy panoramic skiing on the Rutor glacier and the Mont Blanc chain.
COURMAYEUR - MONT BLANC
Altitude: 1224m - 4810m | Opening: 2 December 2022 - 10 April 2023
Situated in the sumptuous setting of the slopes of the Mont Blanc massif, Courmayeur offers ski lovers a varied range of activities suitable for all levels. The linked areas of Chécrouit and Val Veny offer more than 100 km of pistes. For mountain enthusiasts, the Monte Bianco Skyway, a few kilometres from Courmayeur, provides access to the high mountains, including the Vallée Blanche descent. Off-piste skiing enthusiasts will enjoy sliding down the Toula glacier.
MONTEROSA SKI
Altitude : 1540 m – 2750 m | Ouverture : du 2 décembre 2022 au 16 avril 2023
Entre la Vallée d’Aoste et le Piémont, le domaine Monterosa Ski 3 Vallées est perché au coeur des Alpes italiennes, au pied du Mont-Rose, le deuxième plus haut massif d’Europe. Culminant à 3 250 m d’altitude, les vallées de Gressoney, d’Ayas et d’Alagna Valsesia dans le Piémont sont le terrain de jeu idéal pour les passionnés de grand ski. Les quatre autres stations, plus familiales, préservées et authentiques offrent une déclinaison abondante d’activités neige (ski de randonnée, ski de fond, raquettes).
Au total, 7 stations accessibles avec un seul forfait : Gressoney-La-Trinité/ Champoluc-Frachey / Alagna Valsesia, Gressoney-Saint-Jean, Ayas-Antagnod, Brusson et Champorcher.
PILA
Altitude : 1540 m – 2750 m | Ouverture : de 2 décembre 2022 au 16 avril 2023
Balcon sur les Alpes environnantes, la station de Pila offre une vue panoramique et unique sur la Vallée d’Aoste et ses sommets, du Mont-Blanc au Grand Combin, du Cervin au Mont-Rose, le Grand-Paradis et sans oublier les sommets de Grivola, Emilius ou encore du Rutor ! Un panorama à couper le souffle !
Il suffit de 18 minutes en télécabine depuis le centre de la ville d’Aoste pour rejoindre Pila à 1800 m d’altitude et profiter de ses 70 km de pistes.
Passe-partout" ski pass: a single pass for the whole Aosta Valley
Fancy a ski safari? It's possible! The "Skipass Vallée d'Aoste" allows you to ski in the whole region with a single pass, directly accessing the ski lifts.
The validity of the passes covers all the resorts as well as Zermatt in Switzerland, La Rosière in Savoie (France), and Alagna Valsesia in Piedmont.
Prices : From €311 / 6 days and per adult, free for children under 8 years old with the purchase of an adult package. Nominative packages from 3 to 14 days, valid from the beginning to the end of the season in all ski resorts.
