Do you love cycling? This summer, encourage the Tour de France cyclists on 15 and 16 July and try to climb the Col de la Ramaz on a road closed to motorised vehicles on 30 July during the "Adopt a Col" event.
For those who like to pedal without worrying about the difference in altitude, the "Au fil du Giffre" greenway offers you an ideal playground. For the more curious, discover the VTTAE itineraries of the Giffre Mountains!
Looking for a dose of adrenaline?
Take the plunge and try paragliding! Mieussy is the birthplace of paragliding. So, what better way to test the activity than on its home ground? With your feet in the air, the whole of the Giffre valley is open to you, with a view of the Mont Blanc range.
For hikers, there are 23 walks and hikes that await you through the Giffre Mountains. From 30 minutes to several days of walking, there is something for everyone. Finally, runners will be able to set off on the trail routes of Praz de Lys Sommand.

Discovering our heritage
The villages of Taninges and Mieussy are full of preserved heritage and cultural sites: The Maison du Patrimoine in the old town of Taninges, the Chapels circuit in Mieussy and the Chartreuse de Mélan in Taninges.
The latter is open from April to October and invites you to take a trip back in time. Indeed, the building retraces its history and the mediators of the Chartreuse (Haute-Savoie department) will be delighted to help you discover the building and its exhibition, as well as its large park and the works of art that reside there.
In parallel, the Savoie Mont-Blanc heritage guides offer guided tours during the summer season.
