THE LEMAN ALPS

Description

The region "Les Alpes du Léman", located in Haute-Savoie, includes several mountain villages that welcome you in summer and winter: Bellevaux, Habère-Lullin, Habère-Poche, Lullin, Mégevette, Reyvroz, Saxel, Vailly and Villard.

During the winter period, you can take advantage of the many ski areas in the region. These include, for example, Les Habères, Hirmentaz and Roc d'Enfer. Other snow activities are also available. There are several areas for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing in the mountain pastures and exploring the area with sled dogs. The Lake Geneva Alps are full of beautiful scenery: Lake Geneva, Mont Blanc.

During your stay, you will experience the daily life and know-how of the mountain people: fondue or raclette in an igloo, cheese tasting with local farmers (Abondance, Reblochon...), cultural visits...

These Northern Alps resorts are about 30 minutes from the towns of Annemasse and Thonon-les-Bains, 1 hour from Genèvre airport and 2 hours from Lyon, France.
